Reviews
We were so blown away by the AMAZING BIG pizzas and by the terrific price! We will definitely be returning as it was just too good! They were so tasty.
Johnny's Pizza and Pasta delivered a tasty pizza experience. The flavors were exceptional, showcasing a well-made crust and quality toppings. However, our experience was marred as we received the wrong order, realising the mistake only upon reaching home. Despite this hiccup, the overall quality of the pizza stood out.
Friday evening we decided to go for pizza 🍕at Johnny’s Pizza & Pasta.
Conveniently located between a Coles and a Petrol station, so plenty of free parking within walking distance.
Small shop with 5-6 tables for eat in, BYO allowed.
The shop was buzzing given its Friday night, lining up outside for takeaways, couple of families eating in & watching projector playing sports on the wall. Great vibe.
We ordered the recommended “Johnny’s Pizza” in large size from the Gourmet range.
The price difference is $4 between, S>M>L
It came out looking fantastic, as you can see from the photos. They are not stingy on toppings and everything is so fresh.
I was slightly worried before taking the first bite that the pizza base would be thick and doughy, ruining the whole thing.
I was so glad I was proven wrong after the first bite. The base was just right, light & crispy and not doughy at all. That’s how you tell it’s handmade with love (and plenty of resting time for the fermentation to develop properly)
Toppings & sauce: well marinated lamb kofta, thinly sliced pepperoni, juicy tomato and a lot of fresh parsley 🌿. BBQ sauce was too sweet for my liking but definitely would go well with a cold beer 🍺
Really happy we found another local place to go in future.
Highly recommended.
One of the best pizza places in the north west.
It’s not technically New York style. Nor is it New Haven style. It’s kind of like a cross between New Haven And Italian pizza.
The undercarriage is normally crisp and charred, it’s not soft or oily which gives New Haven vibes.
The crust is always crunchy.
The toppings are diverse and varied. I prefer the simple ones though - Pepperoni pizza is 10/10 and the cheese pizza is also 10/10
The super supreme is 9.5/10 if you like lots of toppings. Only downside is the olives have pits so you’ll need to seperate them before devouring.
I’d love if they had a Vodka sauce marinara - would be amazing too
I order from Johnny’s all the time and it’s about time I pay my respects. There’s a couple of good pizza joints around the hills but Johnny’s is on another level. The level of consistency with their pizzas is second to none.
I usually order the americana and bbq chicken and they never disappoint. The dough is always so fresh and fluffy! The Americana has a burnt cheesy edge, wand the pepperoni has a nice heat. Bit of extra sauce on top makes the pizza that bit more delicious!
The bbq chicken is never short of chicken, perfect amount of bbq sauce and not too sweet.
They just nail it!
I look forward to the nights
My wife is out with the kids, so I can order some beers and johnnys pizzas, kick back in front of the tv with the footy going.
Keep doing what you’re doing johnnys! And let’s continue support local businesses!
It’s a pizza we never regret and wont get fed up with.
Only one issue is that, they only open after 5pm!!! They don’t open at lunch times during weekends, elsewise would be perfecto :)
We usually order the pizza called “Dads” and add extra cheese and mushroom as addon. Taste just fabulous.
Great Great Great Great Pizza!
Try the Johnny’s! B. Goode!
I regret to say that the pizza I received was far from satisfying. The temperature of the pizza had dropped significantly by the time it arrived at my doorstep. Additionally, I found the tomato sauce and cheese topping to be excessively heavy and overwhelming. The pizza had a noticeable burnt crust, and the dough appeared undercooked.
My disappointment didn't end there, as the garlic bread I ordered was equally disappointing. It lacked the expected garlic flavor, and the bread itself was disappointingly soggy and damp. All in all, this experience was a letdown, and I couldn't help but feel that it was a waste of money.
